World Cup 2: Croatia

By Webmaster - Posted on 13 May 2009

DVA's Erika Anear made the trip to Croatia to compete in the second leg of the World Cup. It was a record setting event with 15 compound archers shooting over 1400, by far the biggest number ever at one event.
Erika shot a year's best 1368, however was knocked out in the 2nd round by 2007 World Champion Eugenia Salvi of Italy. Both archers shot a 112 round with Salvi winning the tie breaker shot.
Erika finished in 18th place.
The winner of Womens Compound was England's Nicky Hunt, who competed at DVA for the Australian Open last October.
